Euro 2020

I thought it would be cool to have an area to keep up to date with euro 2020. I will do my best to update this as the tournament progresses.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Stuart Holden yes? He was American wasn't he?

If so he is part of a group that owns Mallorca in La Liga.
He's technically British by birth, but yeah, he's an American and does indeed have a stake in Mallorca. What a player he was, though, until one Jhonny Evans challenge.

Just checked it out on YouTube. That was an absolute disgrace of a challenge.

Agreed, and he's never been able to play properly since. Every time he tried to come back, his leg would get fractured very easily, so he was out for another 8 months here, or another year there...he just had to pack it in after a while. Because of one awful challenge.

i am not that into international football, would rather have the domestic football. I will more or likely still watch it as I won’t have a choice

Sadly very true, it'll be overly covered and the only football available!

It's such a roller coaster of emotion being an England fan! I try not to get my hopes up any more
This is pretty much how I try to be, as well, though I do really like the looks of the squad this year, very balanced!

We have Jack Grealish - such an underrated footballer. He can change games in an instant and is ALWAYS capable of winning you set pieces in dangerous areas.

Wales fail to deal with a Swiss corner and concede as a result. 0-1 Switzerland. Should of done better.

Agreed, it just brought back so many thoughts of when Fabrice Muamba went down. I was watching that live, too, and it was just so sudden, and so horrible. The reactions were instant then just as they were now. Hoping for the best!

The match doctor, medical staff and referee are absolute hero's imo.

Fast reactions saved this mans life.

Completely agreed, I was getting worried the longer it went on, it just seemed as though they were taking too long to get him on his way to hospital, but they clearly managed to stabilize him on the pitch and bring him back around. So happy that happened, and credit to them for saving his life. Now here's hoping for a full recovery and full life with his family.

Reports say he raised his hand to fans as he went off the pitch. Hopefully all is well now and doctors can sort him out.

Nobody expected to see this today and I hope everybody is okay.

Hopefully his wife is with him now and he is going to be okay!
