Favourite region?

Of all of the various regions that Pokemon games have taken us to, what has been your favourite to this point?

If I'm being honest, and this is probably a bit of nostalgia getting to me, I'm still a fan of Kanto, the original Pokemon region. Pallet Town, Viridian City, Pewter City, Cerulean and so on. It's pure nostalgia but it was a wonderful region and it led right back around to Viridian to get to the Elite Four, I loved that! My absolute favourite region

Surfing Pikachu in Pokemon Yellow will always be my favourite hidden game

I got the game boy colour and Pokémon yellow on a family holiday to Tenerife in probably the year 2000(?).

It remains to this day my favourite. Absolutely outstanding and really got me hooked on the gameboy.

I got a yellow tommy hilfiger gameboy color and Pokemon Red in 1998, I think...and that was it for me. Done. I got Blue as soon as I could, then Yellow as soon as possible after that. Pokemon became my gaming life, lol. So much fun! Kids today have no idea how easy their games are compared to the early Pokemon games, but they were SO fun! Then to get Pikachu following you around in Pokemon Yellow was such a treat, and when you got to the part where you could teach it surf and if you found the surfer and unlock the surfing minigame...oh it was just joy!!

Agreed! It would've been amazing to have all the starter colours. Such a shame.
